The Haha is a pop-up stand-up comedy showcase I created in Summer 2022 while living in Los Angeles, California. Influenced by the comedians I was working alongside, The Haha gave an opportunity to anyone at Elon University to perform, from first-timers, to senior Caroline Digan, who opened for Alex Moffat in March 2023.

Taking place at The Oak House - coffee shop and bar in Elon, North Carolina, the hour of scheduled comedians was followed by an open mic. The owner informed me that the bar had made at least 8x their normal nightly income, and that they ran out of wine glasses and had to serve out of plastic cups!

My responsibilities for this event involved booking comedians, scheduling the lineup, communicating with the event location manager/owner, creating marketing graphics to promote the show, and co-hosting the show alongside student filmmaker Rebecca Potters.

This was a successful proof of concept, validating my skills and efforts in comedy production.
